What are the weekend plans?

Is there a hotel block?

  • Yes!

    We have rooms reserved (either ocean or marina facing) at the Portofino Hotel in Redondo Beach. It is only a 15 minute drive to the wedding venue, and will be where the after party is held. We recommend having a room there at least for the night of the wedding.

What is the best airport to fly into? Other transportation concerns?

  • LAX is only a 15/20 minute drive to the Portofino hotel.

  • LA County is large and there are many fun things to do in the area so I highly recommend renting a car to get around for you and your family.

  • If you don’t want to rent a car, there are many other options: Uber, Lyft, Waymo (self driving cars!)

  • We will have shuttles to/ from the Portofino hotel on the wedding day, but they do have a large parking lot if you want to drive.

What is the dress code for the weekend?

  • Welcome party: Dressy casual

  • Wedding day: Formal attire; see moodboard)

  • After party: Something you can dance in ;)

Am I allowed to bring a plus one? Are children allowed?

  • No & no.

Is there an open bar?

  • Welcome party: yes, but no hard liquor (hard kombucha, beer, wine)

  • Wedding: Yes

  • Afterparty: No (cash bar)
