What are the weekend plans?

  • Saturday, 10/10/26: Welcome drinks & light apps at the Portofino hotel from 6-8pm

  • Sunday, 10/11/26: Wedding day at La Venta Inn 5:00pm

  • Sunday, 10/11/26: After Party Portofino Hotel Baleen Bar 10:30pm

Is there a hotel block?

  • Yes!

    We have rooms reserved (either ocean or marina facing) at the Portofino Hotel in Redondo Beach. It is only a 15 minute drive to the wedding venue, and will be where the after party is held.

  • Requests have been made for early check in, but if you have a room for just the wedding night, I recommend following up to see how early you can check in. Normal check in is at 4pm and the shuttles depart for the wedding at 4:40pm. Please plan accordingly. 

What is the best airport to fly into? Other transportation concerns?

  • LAX is only a 15/20 minute drive to the Portofino hotel.

  • LA County is large and there are many fun things to do in the area so I highly recommend renting a car to get around for you and your family.

  • If you don’t want to rent a car, there are many other options: Uber, Lyft, Waymo (self driving cars!)

  • We will have shuttles to/ from the Portofino hotel on the wedding day, but they do have a large parking lot if you want to drive.

What is the dress code for the weekend?

  • Welcome party: Cocktail casual

  • Wedding day: Formal attire (see moodboard)

  • After party: Something you can dance in ;)

Am I allowed to bring a plus one? Are children allowed?

  • No & no.

When should I RSVP by?

  • September 1, 2026

Is there an open bar?

  • Welcome Party: Wine will be served, but there is also a cash bar if wine is not wanted

  • Wedding: Yes

  • Afterparty: No (cash bar)

What is the wedding transportation info?

  • 2 shuttles will depart from the Portofino Hotel at 4:40pm. Please be ready closer to 4:30, and meet at the main entrance to the hotel.

  • There will be 3 shuttles departing the venue at 10:15pm to take people back to the hotel where the after party is held.

  • There is free parking at La Venta Inn if you would prefer to drive yourself.

  • Cell service is not great at the wedding venue, so uber is not recommended. Feel free to uber there, and use our shuttle back to the hotel for the after party.
